Aomori

Here are a few photos from the Nebuta Matsuri Festival in Aomori, ran out of room on the digital camera...good thing we had film backup! These floats actually light up at night - they are hand made, and hand painted, and are even pushed along by people, not vehicles! The parade was great, but the fireworks were even better!!! Incredible!
